Wide frequency range
90 - 10 m (3 - 30 MHz)
Suitable for desktop receivers as well as for portables, for 50 Ohms- and high impedance antenna inputs. Vertical mounted magnetic loops will receive both vertical and horizontal polarized signals - this reduces fading caused by polarization changes and stabilizes the wanted signal.
High selectivity
The antenna lets only a small spectrum passing to the receiver's input. So your receiver is unlikely to have any overload problems. You will not need an additional preselector or impedance matcher!
Directional
Signals in a 90 degrees angle to the main reception direction will be depressed up to 15 dB. So you will be able to reduce interferences or to improve the signal strength in many cases.
Low noise level
As you will know, magnetic antennas are mainly receiving the magnetic part of the electromagnatic waves. This is true especially if the signal is led to the receiver by inductive coupling instead of a direct connection. This is the technique the MEA 65 is using. That means that all noise of electric origin will be received much weaker than with any other indoor antenna; all the noise caused by TV sets, computers, dimmers, industry is reduced and can be nulled out additionally.

Reception even behind thick walls
Stones are effecting mainly the electrical part of electromagnetic waves. So you can expect good signal levels in your shack - we do not recommend to move to the cellar, but you would be surprised about the signals you can get even there!
Reasonable price
The M.E.A. costs only € 145,-, a ready-to-use cable is available for € 9,-. Just order the appropriate kind of connector (PL, Cynch, Grundig-IEC-Norm, 3,5 mm Audio, BNC). The antenna will be shipped by DPD parcel service. Please add € 11,- within Germany, € 35 within most countries in Europe. Overseas rates on request.
A battery operated 18 dB-amplifier is available for € 49,-; cable and 9 V-battery included.
